Not really....It would be using the "same" air it pulls into the air filter to cool the air it just pulled into the air filter...so i can't see it doing much for cooling...

There is no cooling. This machine is breathing in ambient air and the "intercooler" is cooling that ambient air with more ambient air. The laws of physics clearly dictate that you can't cool 80 degree air with more 80 degree air.
